Ludisia is a monotypic 'jewel orchid' genus grown primarily for its foliage rather than flowers. The creeping terrestrial produces velvety dark maroon leaves veined with metallic red or gold, and erect spikes of small white flowers. A warm, shaded, humus-loving grower ideal for terrariums.
