Angraecum sesquipedale is famed for its huge, waxy, star-shaped white flowers with a nectar spur up to 30 cm long. Darwin predicted a long-tongued moth pollinator from it, later confirmed as the hawkmoth Xanthopan morganii. A warm-growing Malagasy epiphyte, night-fragrant and slow but rewarding.
