Mantenere il suolo leggermente umido mentre in foglia e fiore, innaffiando da sotto per mantenere la corona/tubero asciutto (la parte superiore del tubero marcisce facilmente). ridurre mentre le foglie ingialliscono e lasciare il tubero riposare quasi asciutto durante la dormienza estiva.

Keep the soil lightly moist while in leaf and flower, watering from below to keep the crown/tuber dry (the top of the tuber rots easily). Reduce as leaves yellow and let the tuber rest nearly dry in summer dormancy.

Free-draining, humus-rich mix; plant with the top of the tuber slightly exposed.

COOL-loving, 10–16 °C; hot rooms (above ~20 °C) trigger early dormancy and collapse. Average humidity.

Twist off (do not cut) spent flowers and yellow leaves at the base. Toxic to pets and people — the tuber is the most poisonous part (saponins).
