Ophrys insectifera
Ophrys insectifera produce piccoli fiori con un labello stretto marrone scuro che assomiglia a una mosca, impollinato da vespe scavatrici maschi attraverso l'inganno sessuale. Una sottile terrestre tubulosa dei margini forestali europei e dei pascoli calcarei, che cresce fresco e dormiente in estate.
