Paphiopedilum Maudiae (callosum x lawrenceanum) is a classic primary hybrid grex grown for its tessellated foliage and tall stems holding crisp green-and-white (or coloranthum) striped flowers. Tolerant and free-flowering, it is an ideal beginner's slipper orchid. As an artificially propagated hybrid it is treated as CITES II.
