Scindapsus pictus
Scindapsus pictus è un aroide rampicante o ricadente della famiglia Araceae, originario delle foreste tropicali del Sud-Est asiatico, dall'India attraverso l'Arcipelago Malese fino al Borneo e alle Filippine. Si distingue per le foglie cordate, verde opaco con macchie irregolari argentate o grigio chiaro e una lucentezza satinata, da cui i nomi comuni 'Satin Pothos' e 'Vite d'Argento'. Spesso confuso con il Pothos (Epipremnum), appartiene a un genere distinto ed è apprezzato come pianta ornamentale d'appartamento per il suo fogliame attraente e leggermente iridescente.
