Soleirolia soleirolii
Soleirolia soleirolii è un'erbaccia perenne a bassa crescita originaria delle isole del Mediterraneo occidentale (Corsica, Sardegna e isole vicine), appartenente alla famiglia Urticaceae. Forma un fitto e brillante tappeto verde di minuscole foglie tonde su sottili fusti striscianti, rendendola una piacevole copertura del suolo per terrari, vasi e angoli ombreggiati del giardino. Nonostante il suo aspetto delicato, è vigorosa e può diffondersi facilmente in condizioni favorevoli.
